Overview
I’m currently in my first year of PhD, started in January 2021. My research is based on textual analysis and archival studies on China’s cultural diplomacy in Arab countries (1955-1966). I gained my MA degree in Arabic interpretation from Beijing Foreign Studies University. I also spent a year abroad at Lebanese University in 2015 by government-sponsored project, studying Arabic language and literature.
Research interest: Sino-Middle Eastern relations, cultural decolonization, 19-20th century History
