Languages available for undergraduate study
All undergraduate students, regardless of degree subject, have the opportunity to study a language as part of their degree. Employers are also increasingly looking for graduates across all subjects who have additional language skills, so this is a fantastic way of standing out from the crowd. You can even have this study included as part of your degree title, 'BA in [insert your degree] with proficiency in [insert language]'
Below are the languages we currently offer for Undergraduate Study. If you don't have enough credits available, consider joining an evening course where we currently offer a wider choice of languages. Through our Tandem Language Exchange scheme you will also be able to find native speakers to practise your language skills with.
Russian Beginners: next year, you will also be able to take Russian Beginners (FLR1130) for credits in the FLC. The module will become available in Online Module Choice in due course, but please ensure to register your interest as soon as possible by e-mailing email@example.com .
