PLIDA Accredited Examination Centre - Exeter
PLIDA - Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri
The Italian Section of the Foreign Language Centre is an Accredited Examination Centre of the PLIDA (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri) where you can sit exams to receive language diplomas certifying your level of proficiency in Italian as a foreign language.
You can sit the PLIDA exams according to your level. There are 6 levels named after the Common European Framework for Languages (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).
The PLIDA certificate is amongst the officially recognised Italian diplomas now required by law to apply for Italian citizenship. So, if you are thinking of applying for citizenship or plan a career in Italy or elsewhere using your language skills, this certification will provide you with an official assessment of your language knowledge, a great addition to your CV.
