Theology and Religion
Research centres and groups
Our academic staff work collaboratively within the Department and with other staff in different disciplines and institutions.
Our three main centres of collaborative research are:
- The Centre for Biblical Studies provides a focus for a range of research activity and projects in the field of biblical studies and interpretation.
- The Exeter Centre for Ecumenical and Practical Theology (EXCEPT) aims to foster and further theological research in contextual, practical and ministerial concerns.
- The Network for Religion in Public Life aims to promote understanding and co-operation between academics and religious communities in respect of the interaction between religion and public life.
