Working with schools and colleges

The College of Humanities is committed to raising aspirations of bright students from underrepresented groups through a wide range of widening participation activities. Our events are designed to engage and inspire an interest in our subjects as well as giving students the chance to find out about Higher Education and the opportunities available. As a College, we also support central widening participation activities and programmes, in particular Exeter Progression and Realising Opportunities, plus Discover and Explore Days.

We offer a wide range of events and activities both on campus and in schools to suit all groups from Year 7 to 13, as well as working with Primary School students. We are also very happy to adapt activities to specific needs and discuss ideas.

We currently offer the following subjects: ArchaeologyArt History & Visual CultureClassics and Ancient HistoryDramaEnglishFilm StudiesHistoryLiberal ArtsModern Languages, and Theology and Religion.

We offer a wide range of events and activities both on-campus and in schools to suit all year groups.
