A week in the life of...
BA English and Modern Languages (German with proficiency in Spanish)
Unusually for a Monday, I enjoy a lie in before German oral class and two hours of Spanish in the afternoon. After this, I like to relax in the evening with my housemates by going to the cinema.
Tuesday morning means an early German seminar and then brunch with friends and going over work and reading. I then have my English lecture and film screening for Shots in the Dark, my favourite module.
After another early start for German and Spanish. I’ll head home if I’m not helping out on a Humanities Open Day. I catch up on work and maybe submit a piece for the student newspaper or music magazine, then Bake-Off!
After my final Spanish seminar for the week, I do my reading ahead of my Shots seminar and look forward to my Xpression FM show in the afternoon then meet friends in the evening.
Friday brings my Shots seminar, which is always really enjoyable and engaging. I do some reading for my German cinema module before the afternoon seminar, then head out for a meal with my housemates in the night.
Saturdays are great for hopping on a train and exploring one of the nearby towns to Exeter for a wander round little shops or a seaside or harbour.
After a lie in on Sunday, I plan my week ahead as well as finish off work from the previous week’s lectures and seminars and enjoy a film in the evening before another busy week!
