Susannah said: “I’m delighted to take part in this event. Learning languages and communicating across cultures has been vital during my career and I know it is an essential skillset for the next generation. I applaud the University of Exeter for their campaign”

Susannah is works with East of England Life Sciences, supporting and advising companies on future international growth plans.

Professor Faulkner said: “In current times, it is critically important that we show young people the many doors that languages can open - personally, culturally and professionally. The 'Languages in a Global World' series does precisely this, with our speaker this year particularly focussed on the benefits of studying Spanish and German, and the advantages that linguistic knowledge and inter-cultural skills bring in a business career.”
