Translation! Festival

Join us at our events for a celebration of languages and cultures from across the world. All our events are on a first come, first served basis and are free of charge. Registration via Eventbrite is required for some events.

Exeter Library

The Library opened in May 2014 following a £4.5m refurbishment. The new Library offers five meeting rooms and conference facilities, a Cafe run by Exeter's Real Food Company, a Business and Intellectual Propery Centre and the first Fab Lab to be located within a UK public library.

At Exeter Library:

Exeter Phoenix

Situated in the centre of the city, Exeter Phoenix is a vibrant, world class multi-artform venue. The arts centre is home to art galleries, a theatre, cinema, dance studio and café. Its workshops, arts courses, film production resources, radio station, print workshop and recording studios, service creatives at every level.

As well as hosting hundreds of music, film, art and performance events every year, Exeter Phoenix helps to nurture a thriving arts scene through its Creative Hub, which supports emerging artists, musicians, theatre companies and filmmakers.

RAMM

Exeter’s world-class museum has stunning displays and galleries, fabulous exhibitions and modern amenities. Its spectacular Victorian building links the modern commercial city centre bustle on Queen Street with the city’s historic past. The displays reveal Devon and Exeter’s rich history and global connections. Exotic animals, birds and insects delight children and the world cultures galleries display stunning items from all over the world. The busy programme of exhibitions and events means there is likely to be something different to see on every visit. Free entry gives everyone the freedom to visit many times and to stay for any length of time.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm. Closed Mondays and bank holidays. Admission free.
