Mandarin Chinese and Translation

At the University of Exeter, Ying teaches the Chinese degree modules

at Modern Languages at all levels

and Interpreting, Practical Translation workshop in the MA Translation Studies. Ying has also

been convenor for Mandarin Chinese

Intermediate levels (Intermediate 1 and 2, Business Intermediate 1 & 2)

at the FLC.
 

Translation and Interpreting

Ying has been the convenor of modules Practical Translation, Community/Consecutive

Interpreting, Biliteral/Simultaneous Interpreting for the MA Translation and Interpreting

programme at the University of Nottingham 2015/16.

Ying is also a professional translator and interpreter. There are 9 books,1 DVD and more than

36 issues of magazine translated with Ying's translation. Ying has also been the interpreter

for many international and national conferences since the 2000s.
