Research supervision

I am open to discussing future research proposals on any relevant subject in my research areas. I would be especially happy to consider working with candidates with interests in the following areas: modernist and/or contemporary British literature, lyric poetry, avant-garde poetics, South African and Anglophone literature, literature and philosophy, literature and ethics, post-war poetry, literature and/as forms of knowledge or stupidity, modern poetry and publishing, literature and the plastic arts (especially architecture, sculpture), the redeployment of classical, medieval, early modern sources in contemporary writing.
