Week in the Life of ...
BA History with Study Abroad
Early start to the week for my Uses of the Past lecture. Then straight to the library for a group meeting. Worked on our poster on the Yasukuni war shrine in Japan; looked at the poster design and the content we wanted to include. Went home had a cup of tea and went for a run. Went to work in the evening- calling Alumni to raise money for Exeter’s annual fund.
No African Modernities lecture so had a nice lie in. Went to my committee meeting as a member of the humanities employability team. Came home and then drove out to Haldon hills for a run with the athletics squad. Went straight back to Exeter to do a presentation for my Uses of the Past seminar. Went straight from this to work. Came home and ate - a lot.
Had two African Modernities lectures back to back. Then went to collect my essay plan for this module. Came home, had a snack and went to Athletics track at Exeter arena. Went back home after this had a snack and did some essay work before watching a film and going to bed.
African Modernities seminar and work in the library on my essay. Run in the evening along the quay. Went to work for my last shift of the week.
Met to discuss and finalise my Uses of the Past poster before getting some books out from the library. Went for a run with a friend in the evening and then went to the gym.
Went to the library library and worked on my essay for a few hours. Then watched the rugby in the Ram bar during the afternoon.
Cross Country race down in Newquay with Exeter Athletics squad. Came home to have a roast dinner with the team and then watched Planet Earth.
