BA Classical Studies and English
I most enjoy... The way I can do really in depth research about specific and often slightly unusual aspects of my degree. I also love how different modules and my two subjects (English and Classics) interact. I love the campus and all the nature. I also love how close Exeter is to Exmouth and Dartmoor, which makes a big change from living in London. When I graduate, I want to do a MA in Classics and then possibly become a teacher.
BA Classical Studies and Russian
The Classics department is really friendly and supportive, there's a great vibe and a lot of interaction between students and lecturers. Lecturers choose the content of their modules so we're at the cutting edge of classic's research, and there are so many modules to choose from; you're spoilt for choice. I studied in Russia for a year as part of my degree which was hugely beneficial and I would recommend a year abroad to everyone.
BA Classical Studies
I've been delighted with my course so far, and in particular with the quality of teaching and lecturing. The willingness of the lecturers to engage with the class, and to adapt their teaching styles to fit each individual or group has been very impressive. Their passion for the subject has exceeded my expectations, and has increased my own interest. Th course flexibility allows me to broaden the scope of my classical knowledge, whilst still maintaining a strong focus on the languages themselves which highlights the freedom of Exeter’s course structure.
