Careers

Our Theology and Religion graduates have an excellent reputation with graduate recruiters and our students and graduates compete very successfully in the employment market. Six months after graduation 100%* of our Theology and Religion graduates are employed or in further study.

Studying Theology and Religion provides you with the professional, academic and personal skills attractive to employers and relevant for a wide range of careers.

Our programmes are demanding and encourage initiative and open mindedness. You will learn to understand other people’s points of view, to communicate your own position clearly and to argue effectively. You’ll also learn to collect, assess and present evidence and to work independently and in groups. Depending on your interests you may also gain valuable experience by becoming involved in voluntary work, study abroad or undertaking a work placement.

Our students have gone on to successful careers in many sectors including personnel, banking, youth and community work, the law, management (public and private sector), the Civil Service, public relations, broadcasting the armed services, education and the Church.
