Research Interests

David has developed his interests in biblical interpretation and in the ways in which 'ordinary' readers could be encouraged to interpret the bible for themselves, without always �being told what it means" by preachers and teachers�. This is a continuing research interest, with occasional contributions to encouraging the responsible use of the Bible in Methodism. He is also interested in the study of the Christian church in Cornwall, both past and present (from �Celtic� origins to current sustainability).
