Dr David Grumett
Honorary Research Fellow
BA (Kent), MPhil PhD (Cantab)
David has been research fellow in the department since 2006, having gained a PhD from Cambridge following a first degree in Politics and Government. His primary interests are the theological significance of everyday material practices such as food and clothing, and modern French catholic thought. His wider theological interests include Christian ethics, philosophical theology, historical theology and liturgy.
David is treasurer of the Society for the Study of Theology, a member of the Management Committee of the Xavier Tilliette Institute, Pontificium Athenaeum Sant’Anselmo, Rome, and a member of the Executive Committee of the British Teilhard Association. He was a staff member of the 2008 Lambeth Conference.
