Theology and Religion
Staff directly involved in the Centre are:

- Professor David Horrell - (Director) New Testament Studies
- Dr Louise Lawrence - New Testament Studies
- Dr Alastair Logan - Gnosticism, Non-Canonical Gospels; Patristics
- Dr Morwenna Ludlow - Patristic Interpretation of the Bible
- Dr Francesca Stavrakopoulou - Hebrew Bible
In addition, other members of the Department of Theology have research interests in biblical hermeneutics, and the uses of scripture in theology and ethics, which closely overlap with the work of the Centre: Professor Tim Gorringe, Dr Mike Higton, Professor Esther Reed, Professor Adrian Thatcher.
There are also a number of part-time staff employed on research projects or teaching biblical languages: Dr Anna Davis, Dr Cherryl Hunt, Dr Stuart MacWilliam, Dr Christopher Southgate.
