Research IT Officer
Graham manages the provision of IT support for the College. Problems and issues are first reported to the Help Desk and the Central IT Team, and then, if the Humanities IT Team can assist more quickly than the Central team, the issue is passed along to them.
Graham is responsible for managing and procuring IT equipment for the College. This includes the general computer and equipment stock, and also research grants that include equipment (such as a camera or a laptop) in their budget. He makes sure that new starters have the right IT equipment, liaises with suppliers to get the equipment that the College needs, and keeps track of the current stock.
He also works with the Web Team on website development for the College, departments and intranet, and manages the College databases.
