Please note that if you have submitted an application to one of our MPhil/PhD programmes you will not automatically be considered for funding. You must submit a separate funding application, including all required supporting documents, via the link provided in each award to be considered for that award.
Application to one of our MPhil/PhD programmes is not a mandatory requirement of the funding application process. However, you must have submitted a complete funding award application (including required supporting documents such as references) via the links in the awards below by the award deadline, to be considered for an award.
Applicants may apply to any awards for which you are eligible and which fit your personal research interests. If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact us.
Deadline for applications
The deadline for submitting funding applications is normally 23:59 [BST/GMT] on the date provided on the award information pages.
Once the deadline has passed, the award application portal will be closed and you will not be able to submit your application, even if you had already started to complete it.
We recommend applicants leave plenty of time to submit your application(s) and do not wait until the last minute, as we cannot make any allowances for computer failure, network, or other problems that may occur when submitting your application.
If references are required to support your application, please note that these must have been received by us by the deadline for your application to be considered for the award(s) you are applying for.
