As part of the Liberal Arts degree you may study for either a full year or half a year at one of the College of Humanities' partner institutions, which include some of the world's most prestigious universities.
The College currently has arrangements with institutions including:
- William and Mary
- University of Toronto
- University of Amsterdam
- Australian National University
- University of Hong Kong
At present our students are able to study abroad at 32 different universities, in 16 countries across four continents through European study abroad or International study abroad. In order to apply for Study Abroad, you will normally be required to achieve a good 2:1 during your first and second year at Exeter. Where you can study is defined by a number of different variables, including: what you study at Exeter; what is your proficiency level in a foreign language (if any); and personal choice.
Like Exeter, our partner universities offer an outstanding and renowned education across the arts, humanities, social sciences and beyond. You can find out more details of these schemes and of our partner institutions on the Humanities Study Abroad web pages.
Further information about studying abroad can be found at the Undergraduate study website (this link takes you out of the College of Humanities website).
