Peking University

Peking University was identified as a key partner for the University of Exeter in 2013. A pan-institutional MoU and a university-level student exchange agreement was signed in 2013. The latter was renewed in 2015.

More than twenty research links, especially those in humanities and social sciences subjects, such as foreign languages, history, law, politics, etc. have been established, which aims to lead to co-publication and joint funding. Besides reciprocal visits by faculty members, Exeter and PKU have held a number of joint academic events and workshops, including the History Colloquium and PKU-Exeter Academic Forum with the School of Foreign Languages.

Peking University (PKU) is a member of the C9 League, analogous to the Ivy League in the United States, and often ranked among the top higher education institutions in China. It is ranked 29th in THE World University Rankings and 39th in QS World University Rankings 2016-2017.
