Study Abroad at Exeter

Welcome from the College Pro-Vice-Chancellor

Welcome to the College of Humanities at the University of Exeter! Thank you for considering us for your Study Abroad placement. I am confident that we can provide you with a first class British university experience and memories which will last a lifetime.

Exeter is a fantastic university, ranked amongst the best in the UK, with beautiful campuses and a vast range of clubs and societies that make for an unforgettable study abroad experience. Unsurprisingly, our students are amongst the most satisfied in the UK: we have one of the highest National Student Survey rankings in the country and have featured in the top 10 since the survey began. Every year we welcome students to the College from over 80 different universities in countries worldwide and our faculty includes staff recruited from North America and across the world’s other leading institutions.

The roots of the University can be traced back to 1855 with the foundation of the School of Art. This heritage and strength in the arts continues to this day through our College of Humanities which boasts a number of world renowned faculty and produces research of leading international quality. The College encompasses a range of subjects across the liberal arts disciplines and an extensive choice of classes, or modules, giving you the maximum flexibility to create your ideal programme for your Study Abroad placement.

I do hope you’ll take the time to discover just how special Study Abroad at Exeter can be.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any queries. I look forward to welcoming you.
