MAUND, L. E. H. Assault from the Sea. xvi, 311p., illus.,  index. London: Methuen, 1949.

One of the best accounts, despite its age. A mixture of personal reminiscence and a history of the development of Combined Operations with which the author was much involved, mainly in the Mediterranean and Far East.  Maund was also Captain of Ark Royal during the Bismarck operation and includes a first hand account of Ark Royal's involvement.
