A history of the ship from the laying of her keel in 1939 to her change of name to Quebec in 1951. Uganda served in the Mediterranean until badly damaged at Salerno. After an extensive repair and refit she re-commissioned in the RCN and served in the Far East. Reprinted from the Sunday magazine section of the Daily Colonist.
