Course lecturer in alchemy, Rosicrucianism and the Kabbalah. I hold degrees in the history of Western esotericism and the psychology of religion, and I have published work on Rosicrucianism, alchemy and magic, most notably my book The Quest for the Phoenix: Spiritual Alchemy and Rosicrucianism in the Work of Count Michael Maier (1569-1622). I am currently conducting research on Carl Gustav Jung's Red Book, high grade manuscripts of the Gold- und Rosenkreuz, the employment of entheogens in angelic communication, inspirationist currents in the early Rosicrucian milieu, alchemical motifs in Renaissance magical literature and the history of esotericism at Glastonbury. My current areas of supervision include Jungian psychology, early modern alchemy, Rosicrucianism, Theosophy, Renaissance magic and the Christian Cabala.
