Dr Sarah Jones

Lecturer (E&S)

My research focuses on the history of gender and sexuality in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. I am particularly interested in histories of sex radicalism and dissent, and have recently completed a doctoral research project that explored the relationship between ‘free love’ and sexual science in the UK and US.

I am also part of the Rethinking Sexology team, and from 2017 will be one of the project’s associate research fellows.
