My current research is on household consumption and production in early modern England, and on personal wealth and economic growth in early modern England. I have just completed an ESRC financed project on sharefarming in England with Liz Griffiths and am now a co-Director of a Leverhulme-funded study on national accounts in England and the Netherlands with Steve Broadberry, Jan Luiten van Zanden and Bruce Campbell.
