Institute of Cornish Studies Seminar Series for 2021-22

ICS Seminar Series 2021-22

The Institute of Cornish Studies (ICS) Seminar Series will be held on the second Thursday of every month at 4pm. There will be a different speaker each month, which will include staff, postgraduate students and honorary research fellows. The speakers for the 2021-22 programme will be looking at new research areas of the Institute and will cover topics such as Cornish place names, dialect, language and landscape. 

About the seminar series

Dates: 9 December 2021, 13 January 2022, 10 February 2022, 10 March 2022, 12 May 2022 and 9 June 2022.

Time: 4 – 5pm (GMT) on the above dates. 

Location: In person events on the Penryn Campus.

Theme: Matt will talk about investigating the impact of war on Cornish coastal communities.

Theme: Dr Lucy Ellis will be talking about The Language and Society Unit of the Institute of Cornish Studies.
