Beginners Fast-Track modules (French, German, Italian and Spanish) are all at University Level 2 and can be taken in the final year of UG study.
Beginners and Intermediate modules are available at 30 credits only. We strongly recommend that you select 30 credit modules for the following reasons:
- More than 80% of students currently studying an FLC language already take 30 credits.
- Students taking 30 credits of language generally make better progress and are more are able to fully develop their language skills.
- Students will be able to successfully complete the 60 credits required to get ‘with proficiency in xxx’ in just 2 years (30 + 30).
- More and more employers are looking for graduates in all fields who have additional language skills and we recognise that getting the language you study with us named on your degree title can be a factor in enhancing your employability and giving you a competitive edge in a global marketplace.
