Foreign Language CentreYou can benefit from the Foreign Language Centre by taking language modules as part of your degree. If you successfully pass 60 credits of the same language then the words "with proficiency in..." can be added to your degree title at Graduation if requested.
You can choose to start a new language or develop an existing one. Depending on the language chosen, modules are available at Beginners (30 credits only ), Intermediate 1 & 2 (30 credits only), Advanced 1, 2 & 3 (15 or 30 credits) and 'For Business' (15 or 30 credits). We also offer Fast Track modules in some languages / levels. All of our modules run across two terms.

Through our Tandem Language Exchange you can find native speakers to practise your language skills with.
If you don't have enough credits available, consider an evening course where we currently offer a wider choice of languages.
