Year Abroad Split Placement Module (Work and Study at a Partner Institution) (SML3011)

120 credits

Students registered for SML3011 have two complementary experiences abroad. They take university courses in one of the countries whose language(s) they study, are taught and assessed by academics working in the foreign universities and bring back their marks to Exeter. They also use a work placement to improve their knowledge of foreign cultures and languages and gain skills that equip them better for the international job market. Three reports and a portfolio of documents written by the students – especially, but not necessarily, during the work placement – are assessed on their return to Exeter
