Our evening classes are open to University Students, Staff, Alumni (for a discount) and members of the public. In line with current University policy, we can only accept enrolments for those aged 18 or over in the academic year.

We offer language courses from Beginners to Advanced level. To help you find the right course we have a guide for choosing the correct level of language study

We have some spaces left in "Introduction to Ukrainian" (online) running on 21/28th June and 5th July.

Our programme for 2022/23 starting w/c 3rd October will be open for registration from 7th June.

Course options

Academic Year 2021/22

Term 1: 10 weeks from week commencing 4 October - 6 December 2021.

Term 2: 10 weeks from week commencing 10 January - 14 March 2022. 

Term 3: 10 weeks from week commencing 2 May - 4 July 2022.

Each course is taught for one term and continuation courses will be offered in term 2 and then again in term 3.

Please note that all courses are subject to registration and adequate numbers. Times and days may change from the published timetable. The Foreign Language Centre reserves the right to cancel classes at the start of term or at the latest in the first week of term if the minimum number of students required is not reached. If a course is cancelled or withdrawn by the university, course fees will be refunded in full.

DELF/DALF, DELE/PLIDA exam preparation courses will start and finish one week later. These will be confirmed in due course and are also ten weeks.
