Learning and teaching
You will be taught by internationally recognised research-active staff through a range of methods including lectures, tutorials, practical classes, field work, and seminars. You will also be expected to undertake independent study.
You will have a personal tutor throughout your studies who will act as a mentor and be available for advice and support.
Assessment
Assessment methods vary depending on your choice of modules, but are likely to include examinations and coursework-based assessment, and possibly oral presentations and group project work.
You must pass your first year assessment in order to progress to the second year, but these results won’t count towards your degree classification. The assessments in the second and third years all contribute to your final degree classification.
