Biography

I completed my PhD, entitled “Mutant Culture: The Politics of Ambivalence in Western Cultural Responses to the Nuclear Threat since 1945,” in 2005 (University of Exeter). Between 2005 and 2008, I taught twentieth-century literature at the Tremough campus of the University of Exeter, and I worked in various teaching roles for the University of Plymouth, notably as Lecturer in American Studies. In 2008 I returned to Exeter's Streatham campus as a Teaching Fellow, and in 2010 I was made a Lecturer in Twentieth-Century Literature.
