Dr James Fraser

I was born and raised in North London, but completed my BA in English Literature and Philosophy at the University of Liverpool. After spending several months getting together enough money for a belated gap year (read: three months) I went on to complete an MA and PhD in English Literature at the University of York. After some revision, my PhD on Joyce and Betrayal, supervised by Prof Derek Attridge, is now being published with Palgrave Macmillan (2016). After York, I taught for a year in the Faculty of English at the University of Cambridge, before taking up a position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of East Anglia. I have a dog named Aengus. I am happy to receive speculation on the literary inspiration for that name.
