Discussion groups
The Feminist Research Network(FRN)
The Feminist Research Network (FRN) is a research and discussion forum which aims to provide a base for all undergraduates, postgraduates and staff who are interested in feminism and gender studies. The discussion group allows researchers from a multiple of disciplines to present their own work in a friendly, interdisciplinary environment, as well as to engage in lively debate.
The FRN has close links with other feminist and gender research groups, such as GENCAS (http://www.swan.ac.uk/research/centresandinstitutes/GENCAS/) and the FWSA (http://www.fwsa.org.uk/) and disseminates information from these centres of research to the low-volume FRN mailing list. The FRN is also part of the wider project of the Twentieth Century Research Group at the Department of English and the Centre for the Interdisciplinary Study of Sexuality and Gender in Europe (CISSGE) here at Exeter. For further details regarding CISSGE, visit our website: http://www.sall.ex.ac.uk/centres/cissge/
The FRN meets twice every term and the discussions are also video-linked to the Tremough campus. Details of forthcoming seminars are advertised on campus and through the FRN members list. If you would like to receive details of forthcoming FRN events, please contact Michelle Parslow ( m.l.parslow@exeter.ac.ukThis email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it ).
