A number of funding routes are open to students on our research degree programmes in Drama, including:*

University of Exeter Alumni Scholarship 2022/23 10% reduction in the first year tuition fee There is no application for this award. You will be automatically considered. A tuition fee discount for University of Exeter alumni who start a postgraduate degree with us in 2022/23
University of Exeter Class of 2022 Progression Scholarship 10% reduction in the first year tuition fee There is no application for this award. You will be automatically considered. A tuition fee discount for current University of Exeter students completing a degree in 2022 and progressing directly to a standalone postgraduate programme with us in 2022/23
Fulbright Scholarships: Postgraduate Student Awards - 2022/23 competition Full tuition fee waiver for one year of Masters / PhD & living stipend Deadline passed

Our UK Partnership award with Fulbright is available for Masters or Doctoral students who are USA or dual USA:UK citizens wishing to study at the University. The award takes the form of a tuition fee waiver for the first year of graduate study (either Masters or PhD) and a living stipend. We also accept scholars in receipt of Fulbright 'Open Awards' (also referred to as the All Disciplines Award).
SWW2 AHRC DTP Awards (Exeter) Home tuition fees plus an annual tax-free maintenance stipend of £15,609 per annum or part-time equivalent. Deadline passed

Up to 47 fully-funded PhD studentships for entry in September 2022 with the South, West and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership. Awards are for three years eight months duration (or part-time equivalent) as standard. Once their studentship has begun students can apply to extend their studentship to up to 4 years, should they wish to undertake a placement opportunity with an external organisation or undertake significant training that is essential to their project.

Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships are for PhD candidates from low and middle income Commonwealth countries, to spend up to 12 months at a UK university as part of their doctoral studies in their home country.
COLFUTURO Ayudar Joint Graduate Scholarship-Loan Programme - 2022 call Tuition fees and living stipend for a maximum of two years Deadline passed

COLFUTURO offers scholarship-loans to provide financial support to Colombian citizens to access high-quality Masters or Doctoral programs abroad. Recipients of Colfuturo funding who have applied to study a Masters degree at the University will be considered for the University's Ayudar Scholarship which provides an annual stipend in line with the UK Research Council recommendations c.£15,609 in 2021/22).

You must submit a separate funding application, including all required supporting documents, via the link provided in each award to be considered for that award.
