Interdisciplinary Spatial Practices: Site and Journey in Performance and the Contemporary Arts (DRA2063)

30 credits

This module engages with site-based and journeying practices drawn from a wide range of spatial practices.  After a short introduction, the module equips students with an interdisciplinary 'toolkit' of approaches to creating practice-based research experiments across a range of different Exeter sites.  Through a supervised process, each student creates a final piece of assessed practice that engages with a particular site.

Incoming international students and Exeter students from other disciplines welcome, subject to availability. In addition to students of drama, performance or theatre studies, this module will engage the interest of students with a background in geography, archaeology, architecture and design.
