Practical Essay (DRA3061)

30 credits

Practical Essay is the culminating practical module on the Drama programme and is what the title suggests: an essay constructed through practice.  Students work in small groups with shared interests.  Each group identifies a core audience and creates a piece of researched practice for a context beyond the University.  Students are primarily assessed on the appropriateness and success of the choices they make in relation to the context they work in.  It is core for Single Honours Drama students and optional for Combined Honours students and study abroad students who take all 120 credits in Drama at level 3.
