Studios (WH1, WH2, WH3)

There are three studio spaces in the main Thornlea House (known as The White House).
Studios 1 & 2 have polished wooden parquet floors, Studio 3 has a dance floor and a full height mirror. These three spaces were created in 1998, when Drama moved into the mansion.

Opening times

The Thornlea buildings are open from 8.30am - 9pm Monday - Friday during term times. Drama students need their University Card to access the White House at all times.

Thornlea House was the residence of Alderman W.H.Reed, former Mayor of Exeter. In 1922, Alderman Reed bought Streatham Hall (now Reed Hall) for the University College of the West of England, starting the development of the Streatham Campus as we know it today.
