Hellenistic Culture and Society - Literature (CLAM103)

This module explores the evolution of a complex new literary culture in the Hellenistic period, and the development of new literary genres. It will consider the works that have underpinned much of the literature that developed in later centuries, and explore the ways in which it can be used to better understand the rich and colourful cultural life or the cities and empire.
