Landscape Survey

Would you like to play a part in finding new archaeological sites?

Are you interested in the ‘lost’ historic places that have long-disappeared from our countryside?

Do you want to get hands-on and learn how to use state-of-the-art archaeological prospection equipment?

If so come to one of our Landscape Survey events at Cotehele (watch this space – date and exact location to be confirmed).

This event will provide you with an opportunity to learn the techniques of geophysical survey whilst exploring the hidden heritage of the National Trust’s Cotehele estate.

This is an outdoor event that requires gentle physical work – laying tapes, walking with equipment, running cables etc.

Pre-booking is essential and places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. To register complete the application form and email to Chris Smart c.j.smart@exeter.ac.uk.
